VAST is the brainchild of Jon Crosby, a visionary 21-year-old from California. Produced by Fred Maher (Luna, Lou Reed, Matthew Sweet), Visual Audio Sensory Theater is a huge, ambitious project that mixes heavy guitars and drums with acoustic instruments, chants and world music samples to create a gothic, moody, sometimes disturbing but beautifully epic sound. Crosby wrote the music and played virtually all the instruments; the label promises a long-term commitment to this project.
