Ed Sheeran- X (45rpm)
The young English singer/songwriter follows up his hugely successful 2011 debut album + with this sophomore effort, whose title is to be pronounced "Multiply." It sees him continuing with his trademark acoustic folk/hip-hop crossover sound, but has somewhat more of an R&B feel this time around. The album was recorded with Pharrell Williams, Jake Gosling (who produced +), and Rick Rubin, who encouraged Sheeran to bash out the songs acoustically before dubbing the other instruments over the top.
