Three Friends- Golden Oldies (CD)
The Three Friends were formed in 1954 while all three members (Tony Grochowski, Frank Stropoli, and Joe Villa) were attending New Utrecht High School in Brooklyn, NY. The vocal group classic "Blanche," recorded in 1956, was an original song penned by the group, and inspired by a young lady who had attended their High School. Presented here along with the original single is their entire output from 1956 through 1957 which comprises 4 singles. Both "Jinx" and "Chinese Tea Room" were released twice, making a total of six tracks. Newly remastered.
