Multiple Grammy-winner Wynton Marsalis recently made history as the 1st jazz musician ever to win the Pulitzer Prize (for jazz opera Blood on the Fields). He was also voted one of the Top 25 Most Influential People in America by Time Magazine. Now, one of this country's foremost celebrities releases Jump Start And Jazz, 2 original compositions - each commissioned and premiered as ballets in New York City. This recording features the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, joined by special guest Branford Marsalis.
