the album cover for McFadden, Eric - Lucky Man

Singer, songwriter and guitarist Eric McFadden is a veteran of the celebrated West Coast scene, thanks to his work with Liar, Alien Lovestock, IZM, Holy Smokes and the Eric McFadden Experience. McFadden has recorded three solo albums that are considered important works of the underground scene. Parliament/Funkadelic pioneer George Clinton was so impressed with McFadden that he recruited the guitarist for one of his tours with the P-Funk All Stars. That was all it took for McFadden to be inducted into the pantheon of funk-rock guitarists alongside the likes of Ernie Isley, Nile Rodgers, Cornell Dupree, Gary Shider, Michael Hampton and Eddie Hazel. McFadden has toured and played with Bo Diddley, blues troubadour Keb Mo', Living Colour, Primus mastermind Les Claypool, Eric Burdon and many others. McFadden also unleashes his incomparable riffs and Hispanic rock style on Stockholm Syndrome's Holy Happy Hour. His elegant, slightly sinister approach to guitar is a subtle blend of technique and emotion. For several years now, under the Bad Reputation banner, Eric McFadden has been making a string of acoustic albums (Starving At The Feast, Let's Die Forever, Train To Salvation), electric albums (Bluebird On Fire, Delicate Thing), tribute albums (AC/DC and Alice Cooper) and live performances with Pat McManus in the 2 Big Mc's (Live In Patrimonio, Hit Corsica again). Eric McFadden has been working on this wickedly rocking and severely bluesy album for two years. Here we find all the ingredients that have made Eric McFadden a key guitarist and vocalist on the international rock scene. Featuring: Storm Large (Pink Martini), Wally Ingram (Timbuk3, Stockholm Syndrome) Paulo Baldi (Liar) Norwood Fisher (Fishbone)... Includes covers of The Eyeball Kid (Tom Waits) and No Love On The Street (Tim Curry).
