Upside Down Cake is a group of friends that gather to record sounds and melodies. After many sessions, they had enough material to release their favorite jams as an album titled 'Bandy Jams'. The band had a lot of fun improvising, but they were curious about what their music would sound like with lots of structure and detail. They dedicated a year to working on a concept album about traveling to another planet to play a concert, the album become known as 'Award Winning Concert in Space'. In order by song, the story of the 'Award Winning Concert in Space': 01. Blast Off - The band leaves their home planet in the direction of the planet that they will be playing a concert on. They sing their goodbyes and hellos. 02. Star Strike - As the band is distracted by their musical instruments and an onboard arcade machine, the spaceship is attacked by what seem to be asteroids. They have a safe but crash landing on a nearby planet. 03. Meetings and Greetings - The band panics, they don't know how they are going to make it off of the planet. Their robot becomes possessed by an entity that is native to the planet. The robot assures that all will be good, they praise their meetings and greetings. 04. Strange Vacation - The robot leads the band to what they call 5-Star Temple. On their way, they sing about how everything seems fine on a walk. Walking through the scenery of the planet is like walking on some sort of strange vacation. 05. 5-Star Temple - The band enters the 5-Star Temple. The temple will spit them out into an alternate reality, but there are lots of twists and turns before the temple's exit. 06. Hello World - The band leaves the temple to find that the planet now seems to be covered with robots and buildings. The unseen natives of the planet love the band's technology so much that they needed to expand upon it, giving themselves each a robot body to experience their world in new ways. 07. Winning Life - The band celebrates their happenstance with the robots. 08. Stars - The band now has a ship that can take them to their concert. This fact helps them sleep well, and under the Stars, before their departure. 09. Prison - The band wakes to find themselves in prison. They express their angst, until their robot friend rescues them. 10. Escape - The band makes their getaway on their new working spaceship, as they say their angry goodbyes. 11. Lazer Love - The band plays their concert as they think about everything they went through. It was all worth it, because it became an award winning concert in space!
