A Certain Ratio- I'd Like To See You Again

Limited white colored vinyl LP pressing. In commemoration of the new A Certain Ratio album ACR Loco, Mute presents a colored vinyl LP reissue of the group's 1982 album I'd Like To See You Again with an alternative black and white cover. The last record to feature the original quintet of Donald Johnson, Jeremy Kerr, Martin Moscrop, Simon Topping and Peter Terrell, I'd Like To See You Again saw the band move from the ethereal textures of Sextet towards a more stripped-down sound, influenced by the Latin and electrofunk scene in New York. Standout tracks include rubber-thumbed bass workout "Touch," vocoderized percussion excursion "Show Case" and the minimalist, muscular grooves of "Guess Who."
