World renowned percussionist King Errisson has worked with a very diverse group of recording artists including Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross, The Temptations, Smokey Robinson, Michael Jackson, the Jackson Five, Herb Alpert, Doc Severinsen, Ringo Starr, Blood Sweat & Tears, Jim Stafford, Swamp Dogg, Barbra Streisand, David Cassidy, Bobby Darin, Nancy Wilson, Johnny Mathis, OC Smith, Lou Rawls, just to name a few. King has been praised as "the unsung hero behind Motown," his funky conga drum provided the spice for so many hit records. Presented here is King's rare 1970 album "The King Arrives" featuring an amazing assortment of backing musicians including The Crusader's Wilton Felder and guitarists David T. Walker and Phil Upchurch. All selections have been newly remastered.
