Representing some of McDowell's finest recorded output, this performance, recorded live in 1969, underlines him as a leading light in the last line of blues giants on tracks including 'Write Me a Few Lines', 'Glory Hallelujah' (featuring Jo Ann Kelly) and 'When I Lay My Burden Down'.
