These songs showcase Blaze's talent in early\r\nform. The album includes several of Blaze's songs\r\nnow considered classics such as Cold, Cold World;\r\nElection Day; Clay Pigeons \u0026amp; If I Could Only Fly.\r\nThe album also boasts three Foley songs that do not\r\nappear on any other recordings; The Way You Smile,\r\nFat Boy, and the title track.\r\nAt the time of Blaze's tragic murder in 1989 he was\r\nlittle known outside of Austin's renegade songwriter\r\ncircles. He is now revered among the pantheon of\r\nTexas' great songwriters. Townes Van Zant and\r\nLucinda Willliams both penned moving tributes to\r\nBlaze.
