Sky Valley Mistress is back. Pilot Kayley aoHell Kittena? Davies and Commander Max aoLeather Messiaha? Newsome launch you into the Sonic Stratosphere with an audio journey fuelled by 70as hard rock, driven off the road to a fresh new destination. Taking you through desert rock grooves and mountainous riffs, you are guided by Kayleyas soulfully smoked voice with her range of soaring, delicate and searing melodies, as the band ride peaks and valleys of dynamics and pace with a brand new selection of fuzzed up guitars, organs, real orchestras and a childrenas choir. Twisting influences of Queens of the Stone Age with Portishead and turning from Spiritualised-sized gospel choruses to the gallow heavy swing of Black Sabbath with sound as fast as light to create a modern classic that is entirely their own. This is a demonstration. Of their refusal to wait for permission to create a record that stands in scale with some of the most monumental albums in rock. The bandas intent behind creating Luna Mausoleum was that it should be aogreater and beyond all reasona. It's in your hands. Along with bonus tracks and hidden features on the record itself that are not available online, every record sleeve will contain five punch card sheets with pieces to construct a 3D Luna Mausoleum card model, without the need for scissors, glue or to fold any parts. Created by Max and Kayley and with over 300+ hours of work by Eaten Alive Illustrations, the model can house the tarot cards from the game inside their limited edition vinyl of their first album and if placed over a light source in a dark room, reveal the constellations of the a-Celestial Comedowna above you.
