Rose Dorn is a trio of songwriters who, though initially scattered across Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley, ultimately came together in a stranger's house somewhere in Eagle Rock. This origin story functions well as a metaphor for their music. At once eerily familiar-close to home-and simultaneously resistant to total understanding, these songs never arrive where or when you're expecting them to, as figments of a dream that are only able to be narrativized upon waking.
