Susan's debut album earned her a prestigious Grammy® nomination for Best New Artist in 2000 (she lost to Christina Aguilera!). Part Bonnie Raitt, part Janis Joplin, part Aretha Franklin, Susan can belt out a song without losing control in a way that gives her an edge. No other singer compares. If you have another suggestion, let me know. Add to her vocal prowess, her guitar slinger skills and you have a rare combination in a contemporary female performer. Susan knows the blues and delivers the licks to prove it. She's often categorized as a blues singer, but she herself is not so sure that's the right label for her. In her own words, "I don't really know how to describe what I do, other than 'American roots.' I think back to the 60's when Bob Dylan, Mahalia Jackson and Muddy Waters would play on the same bill. It's all music that comes from soul." - Susan is the essence of what Austin City Limits® is all about. Obviously she draws from the best of blues, rock, soul and funk, but what she does best comes from deep within her heart and soul. You'd never know it if you ran into her on the street, but once she gets up on that stage with her band and a guitar in hand, she can burn down the house! It takes a lot of courage to take a classic like Dylan's "Don't Think Twice, It's All Right" and breathe new life into it, but Susan has a way of putting her own stamp on everything she does.

In order to ship your records to you in the safest way possible, and to avoid seam splits, we recommend removing the record from the jacket when shipping. That said, we will never open sealed records and do this without your permission. If you would like your records shipped to you this way, please request this in the notes section of checkout. Shipping Policy
Free Shipping offer applies to US orders only. We will choose the most economical way to ship your items. If you have preorders in your cart, and opt for free shipping, all items will ship with the last remaining preorder in the order. Turntables/Speakers/Consoles are not eligible for free shipping.
All domestic Vinyl orders ship via UPS Ground (with the exception of PO Boxes, APO/FPO where we must choose USPS Priority) for a flat rate of $7.99 + $1 for each additional item. We take great care in our packaging to ensure orders arrive to you quickly and safely. Most orders are shipped within 24 hours of your order being placed (with some exceptions, e.g. post RSD when we have a massive influx of orders) and are packaged in Whiplash LP mailers that are specifically designed to protect your records. We use 100% recyclable packing materials, from paper tape to HexcelPack, to do our small part to cut out single-use plastics.
***Please note that we are not responsible for stolen packages and are not able to refund you for your purchase if your package was stolen after delivery. While we can help you file a claim, if UPS or Fedex deliver your package and take a proof of delivery photo, it is unlikely they will reimburse the missing package.
International Orders: Please note that taxes, fees and duties are worked into your shipping fees at checkout. We know and agree that international shipping rates are incredibly expensive. Unfortunately at this time we do not feel that USPS is a reliable option for us to ship international orders so our prices exclusively reflect those of UPS or Fedex. Please reach out to us with any questions.
> Due to the current limited nature of music titles and production issues, ALL CD & Vinyl purchases are limited to one copy per customer, per item. If you place multiple orders for the same title, your subsequent orders will be cancelled.
