Released in 1970, "The Phil Spector Songbook" by a Los Angeles based quartet named Monday Blues holds the distinction of being the first "tribute album" consisting entirely of songs that were originally Phil Spector productions. All the songs on the album were huge Spector hits including "Walking in the Rain," "Then He Kissed Me" and "(The Best Part Of) Breakin' Up." All selections newly remastered.
