'Rung Hyang is a singer and soul writer who crosses various genres such as jazz, hip-hop, soul, and folk. In December, an LP record that combines two of Rung Hyang's EPs, 2022's 'ROMANTIA' and 2023's 'AROMATIC', will be released. Side A of 'ROMANTIA' opens with 'CICADA', a song that sings sad feelings on a groove-filled track by Tomokazu 'TOM' Matsuzawa, 'Puzzle' featuring Taichi Mukai (now TAIL), who is a good friend both in public and private, 'Crush', a chill trap-like R&B tune by his ally Shingo. S, 'AWAKE', a modern disco funk by Shin Sakiura, and 'I Hate You', a ballad that asks 'What is right?' and 'What is right?' with a timeless sound full of love for soul music. Side B's 'AROMATIC' includes five songs, from 'Otona no Jikan' (Time for Adults), which expresses Rung Hyang's recent theme of 'adults, have fun' with a light sound, and 'weakness' (weakness), which expresses the worries of relationships with loved ones wrapped in a mellow 90s R&B sound, to 'Floater', a chill R&B tune that is the first collaboration with illmore of Chilly Source, 'ANY DAY', where the worldviews of Rung Hyang and TENDRE intersect like a shadow stretching at dusk, and 'Our story', a piano ballad with the theme of 'bereavement' that everyone cannot avoid. With the release of 'ROMANTIA / AROMATIC', a new remix of the popular song 'I Hate You', which is also a staple of live performances, is added to Side A. The song was originally an answer song that Rung Hyang improvised to a problem sent in by a listener on a program on block.
