(CD Reissue - 2025 Brutal Planet Records) Limited to 300 Copies Part of the Metal Icon Series In the chaos and creativity of the late '80s crossover scene, one record stood out not only for it's ferocity, but for it's intelligence and unflinching social commentary-We The People...? by School of Violence. Originally released in 1988 on Death Records, a division of Metal Blade, this brutal and biting album fused punk urgency with the crushing weight of thrash metal, capturing a cultural moment with startling clarity. Led by guitarist Stegmon von Heintz and fronted by Karl Agell-who would go on to sing on Corrosion of Conformity's Blind-S.O.V. delivered an album that still feels alarmingly relevant. With tracks like "U.S.B.S.," "Following Blind," and "Reign of the Clown," the band took aim at blind allegiance, political decay, and a society on the brink. It's no wonder We The People...? still hits like a gut punch today. This 2025 reissue from Brutal Planet Records is officially licensed from Metal Blade Records and fully supported by the surviving band members. It includes a brand new write-up from Stegmon von Heintz, who reflects on the record's continued power and the memories of his fallen bandmates-Rick Stone and drummer Mark S. Evans - to whom this release is lovingly dedicated. Rest assured: only the original, band-approved tracks appear on this reissue. A previous bootleg import added unauthorized material-this edition rights that wrong, honoring the band's intent.
