A rare collection carefully selected from the artist's archives, including new songs, re-recordings, demos, and live performances! Based on a technical sound that combines the speed of thrash metal and the brutality of death metal, Utsutsukotsu is known for their extreme sound, roaring Japanese lyrics with a samurai romantic theme in a death voice. To commemorate the 15th anniversary of the debut of the 'Kawagoe Cruel King', they have released a best album and a collection of rare recordings at the same time! The second release in the 15th anniversary commemoration release series, the rare collection, is full of treasures, including one new song, one song not included in the album, one re-recording, three demos, and five live songs. 'Funeral before death' declares powerfully that 'This is proof that I am alive', and while it starts with a groovy intro and develops like an avalanche, it is a new song that embodies their new approach, with impressive catchy riff work. The instrumental track 'Into the Hachigata Castle', which is not included in the album, is a rare medium tempo orthodox heavy metal sound, and is a great song that gives a sense of the band's background. The re-recorded 'Jyunkyousha' is a song from the 2009 release of 'Mouryou' (1st album), and is a familiar representative song that is often played at live shows. The three demo songs are two from 'Retributive Justice' (3rd album: 2015) and one from 'Back From The Underworld' (6th album: 2023). You can enjoy a different approach from the finished version, such as arrangements and guitar solos. Furthermore, the band's first live five songs were recorded in Iwaki and Kashiwa immediately after the release of 'Seisui no Jin - The Final Stand' (the fifth album: 2018).
