Only two Acetates of the Aardvark LP were made in 1970 on the West label (famous for Bodkin), and until now they have remained undocumented and their existence unknown. The Aardvark LP is one of the rarest Folk-Rock LPs in the world and is valued in excess of £3000. No one has heard the album for 53 years. Aardvark lived in a remote Farmhouse in the Scottish Highlands and in 1970 recorded this fab LP, pressing just two ultra rare 12" acetates that have not been documented until now. Their music is High-Octane Folk Rock with superb violin and a hippie sensibility. All material is self-composed. Aardvark's original LP is one of the most valuable artefacts of the folk-rock era.
