Tommy Irvin's music is a mix of Texas Americana, country, blues, rockabilly, swing and folk. Heavily influenced in the Old School by Johnny Horton, Cash, Paycheck, Hank Williams, Hank Snow, Jim Reeves, Hank Thompson, Tennessee Ernie Ford, Little Jimmy Dickens, Buck Jones, Merle Haggard, Marty Robbins, Faron Young and Roger Miller. Most songs are originals. Tommy wrote his first song by age 8. He has recorded more than 200 songs, written over 400 and close to 100 have been published by various companies. Tommy's first single "That's What Highways Are For" made the top 40 on the Texas Music Chart in 2003. Tommy has performed in over 30 states in the Union and also performed in France, Germany and Mexico.
