His most famous song, "Key to the Highway" has become a blues staple, covered by blues artists from Lightnin' Hopkins to Muddy Waters and popularized by Eric Clapton's version on his Derek & the Dominos "Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs" album. Big Bill's version of "House of the Rising Sun" was the version that inspired Eric Burdon and the Animals huge 1960's hit. Recorded in Paris in the early 50's, "Big Bill Broonzy Sings" features the master bluesman accompanying himself on acoustic guitar. Included is the original 9 -+ minute version of "Hollerin' And Cryin' the Blues." All selections newly remastered.

Tracklist:

Hey Bud Blues

Baby Please Don't Go

Letter To My Baby

Do Right Blues

Make My Getaway

Backwater Blues

Lowland Blues

Hollerin' And Cryin' The Blues
