Gypsy Lane, who backed the Village People and Ritchie Family in the studio, was led by funk studio drummer Russell Dabney and Larry Davis - who also played trumpet with Instant Funk and had done arrangements for veteran Philly Soul singer Bunny Sigler. "Cold Fire," a Davis/Dabney copyright, hit the US market as a 12" single in 1982 and was a funky bass-driven club hit. Included are bonus instrumental and radio edits. All selections newly remastered
