The album was produced by Jeff Glixman known for his work with Kansas, Allman Brothers, Gary Moore and Black Sabath to name a few and Steve Lillywhite known from his work with major artists such as Simple Minds, Ultravox, Big Country, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Talking Heads, U2 and The Rolling Stones. "Early Damage" has been praised for it's innovative blend of post-punk, new wave, and experimental rock influences.
