Billy Griffin is the great American soul singer who replaced Smokey Robinson in the Motown recording group, the Miracles. In addition to singing lead, he co-wrote many of the group's major hits. In the late 80's he joined British producer Ian Levine's massive Motown reunion Motorcity Records project and was the first to release a single on the label. He became a featured writer and performer for the label and arranged background vocals for several of the artists. This compilation focuses on his biggest successes for the label. All tracks have been newly remastered.
