Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To submit a return request, please log in to your account at https://account.darksiderecords.com. If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

We’ll send you a pre-paid return shipping label only for items that are damaged or defective. If you choose to return an item because you no longer want it, you are responsible for paying for the return shipping.

Depending upon the circumstances of the return in question, your return may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Once a return has been authorized and/or a pre-paid return shipping label has been issued, you have 10 business days to ship the return. After that, the return authorization will be cancelled and a refund will not be made for the item.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order immediately upon reception and contact us if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. On our website we offer the ability to open your records before shipping to protect them from seam splitting. Unfortunately we can not offer refunds or replacements based for items that have been seam split in the shipping process. The best way to defend against this happening is to allow us to open your record ahead of time and place it inside of a free protective poly sleeve.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as special orders, and clearance items. Any items marked as (DAMAGED) are non-returnable. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. Exchanges/replacements will not be sent until the returned item has arrived to us.

International Returns/Exchanges

Unfortunately due to the high costs of international shipping, we can not offer returns or exchanges for international orders. Please note that all items purchased are delivered AS IS and are non-returnable. If you have a defective disc within your product packaging please reach out to us and we will try to come up with a fair and equitable solution for both parties. If an international package goes missing once it is in the possession of the applicable shipping companies, we can file missing package claims but can not guarantee that the international shipping company will accept or refund us for the missing package.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Abuse

Please note that we reserve the right to deny return requests if we feel that a customer is abusing the ability to return items.
