Dobbo- Lovely Day For It (PREORDER)
UK-based multi-instrumentalist Dobbö presents Lovely Day For It, a six-track EP of organic jazz-funk and fusion drawing on the sounds of Weather Report, Herbie Hancock, Allan Holdsworth and 1970s dancefloor jazz. This limited 7" pairs two of the EP's standout singles: "Hidden Village," a breezy, mellow jazz-funk instrumental built around Dobbö's funky drumming and electric guitar, with flute, bells and dreamy wordless vocals adding a lush, summery feel; and "Eye Spy," an uptempo groove driven by a slinky bass riff, combining deep funk with virtuosic fusion guitar. Across both tracks, Dobbö's skills on drums, guitar and bass showcase a distinctive young musician with a strong command of groove, melody and musicianship.
