Boygenius are back. The supergroup of Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers, and Lucy Dacus will release its debut LP, The Record, on March 31, via Interscope.

Boygenius produced the record at Rick Rubin’s Shangri-La Studios in Malibu, California. The trio presaged its return with the announcement of a show at the 2023 edition of Coachella. Boygenius had been relatively quiet since 2018, when they released a self-titled debut EP. In 2020, they released a collection of demos on a Bandcamp Friday for charity and joined Hayley Williams on her song “Roses/Lotus/Violet/Iris.” Last November, they regrouped to play a benefit for the Bay Area nonprofit Bread & Roses.
