Irene sang with bands on tours led by Woody Herman and Chubby Jackson and worked with Maynard Ferguson, Stan Kenton and Shelly Manne. Recorded for the small Ava label in 1963, Better Than Anything presents her backed only by a swinging rhythm section led by pianist Junior Mance. 180-gram VIRGIN VINYL LIMITED EDITION of 650 COPIES.
