The Half Knots collective - Danny Kathriner, Chris Peterson and Todd Schnitzer - released their (self-titled) debut album in 2005 with much critical acclaim. The group's keen sense of beautiful, sonic aesthetics is only obvious when one listens to the soft layers of melodies and instruments that make up Half Knots unique sound. Danny's introspective lyrics weave effortlessly in the rich, musical echelons of dulcimer, mandolin, guitar, electric piano, organ and strings. Although all three members live in different cities, they have managed to keep up the creative process with a brand new CD Color Them Blue.
