2018 release. Despite it's upbeat rhythm and onomatopoeic refrain, 'Sound Of A War' is a wake-up call for all to realize that we are actually living in a global war, where everyone's involved. Distracted by gossip and vanity, we don't often understand that we are being talked by the high society into entering an all-out war'. Large is a bridge between Mellow Mood's current sound and their earliest songwriting, thanks to it's melancholic tones and melodies. While the worldwide pop music scene is now promoting economic gain and consumerism as the only means to achieve personal satisfaction, 'Large' stands out from the crowd and rather calls for a more conscious way of life, more sober, non-subjugated by market rules, freer. In the end, that's indeed the true spirit of reggae music.
