Such famous names as Lord Buckley, Tim Buckley, Alice Cooper, and Captain Beefheart would make the label a successful artistic endeavor. The filmmakers interview a number of peole who recorded for or worked at the labels including Pamela Des Barres and Kim Fowley, as well as a handful of rock critics who provide historical perspective on the events discussed.
