Social Distortion 'Born To Kill' Release Event
THE WAIT IS ALMOST OVER! The new Social Distortion album is coming May 8 on CD, Vinyl and INDIE EXCLUSIVE PINK AND YELLOW VINYL.
We're ready to celebrate and listen with our Social D fam! Join us on May 8 at 6:30pm to spin the new record, hang with fellow fans, and partake in some free goodies (while supplies last).
We'll also have a limited edition 7" single ("Born To Kill"/"Tonight") with purchase of BORN TO KILL (also while supplies last) and a chance to enter to win album art AUTOGRAPHED BY SOCIAL DISTORTION.
BORN TO KILL is more than the conclusion to a 15 year wait between Social Distortion albums, it’s a revelation: 11 songs of pure, unadulterated rock fury, joy and catharsis, all imbued with the signature blend of defiance and world weariness that has made Ness a poet and sage to the dispossessed for more than 40 years. Co-produced by Ness and Dave Sardy, and featuring guest appearances from Benmont Tench of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and Lucinda Williams, and collaborative cover art by Ness and Shepard Fairey, Born To Kill is the latest installment in a remarkable catalog that spans nearly three generations.
Bleachers Advance Listening Event
It will take a little longer than ten minutes to listen to the new BLEACHERS album, everyone for ten minutes, and everyone can do it early, together at Darkside Records on Saturday, May 16th @ 4pm.
Hang out while we spin the new album - attendees will have the chance to grab free goodies, and one special attendee will have the chance to snag a grand prize! (while supplies last)

Death Cab For Cutie Release Event
DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE have returned to their indie roots -- signing to ANTI-Records for their 11th studio album, I BUILT YOU A TOWER. It only makes sense for you to return to an indie -- indie record store that is -- to celebrate it!
Celebrate at our release party on @ 6:30pm and hang out while we spin the new album. Attendees will have the chance to grab free goodies, gifts with purchase of the new album, and one special attendee will have the chance to snag a grand prize! (while supplies last)
Meet the creator of Iron Maiden's Eddie!
Join us on Tuesday, September 1st for a special meet & greet + signing with the legendary Derek Riggs!
Derek Riggs is the visionary British artist behind Eddie, the legendary mascot of Iron Maiden. A defining force in heavy metal’s visual identity, Riggs created the band’s first album cover in 1980 and went on to design many of their most iconic artworks, including Killers, The Number of the Beast, Piece of Mind, Powerslave, and Somewhere in Time. His vivid, dystopian style and meticulous hand-painted detail helped shape the look of 1980s metal culture, making Eddie one of the most recognizable figures in music history. Riggs’ work extends beyond Iron Maiden, but his collaboration with the band remains one of the most celebrated artist-band partnerships of all time.
