Born in 1938, the William Bolcom Filled with of surrealistic humor, passion, wisdom, mystery, and the Andalusian flamenco tradition that beat in his ancestral blood. These songs received their premiere in 2006 with Placido Domingo and in this recording feature the tenor René Barbera accompanied by Jeffrey Biegel on piano. The Pacific Symphony & Chorale add depth to the arrangement set to Lord Byron's Prometheus.
