Vinyl Records: Used records are purchased and visually graded by our veteran record buyers with utmost care in mind - We generally only buy records that are in a condition that we too as record lovers would want to own in our own collections. Records and generally VG+ condition or better unless we've noted otherwise. We do our best to list out any items or issues of note in our listings, such as small marks, surface rashing, seam splits, etc.

CDs & DVDs, Games: Discs may have light cosmetic marks from normal handling but are visually inspected to ensure there are no scratches or damage that would affect playback. Cases may show normal signs of use, such as light scuffs or shelf wear.

We purchase hundreds of used items every day, so we are unable to individually play-test every item- there just isn't enough time in the time-space continuum to do so. All used items are visually inspected for condition and checked for scratches, damage, or other issues that may affect playback. We do our best to note any issues in our product listings so there are no surprises for anyone.

Used items include their original case or sleeve, artwork, inserts, and other originally included materials unless otherwise noted in the product listing. Because these items are pre-owned, we cannot always verify every component that was originally included with a release, but we try our best.

Maybe! Our used inventory comes directly from items brought into our store, so availability is always changing. If a used item sells out, we may get another copy in the future, but we can't predict if or when one will come through the door.

We take great care in packing every order so it arrives quickly and safely.

Items sold on our website may ship from multiple locations, including our brick-and-mortar store, our off-site warehouse, or as preorders that release at a later date. To help set clear expectations, each product page lists an item’s availability and shipping location just above the Add to Cart button.

• In-store items are typically ready to ship within 24–48 hours
• Ship To Store must first be transferred to our shop before shipping. This transfer process generally takes 4–7 business days

If an order contains items from both locations, the order will be held and shipped together once all items are available at our shop. In these cases, the 4–7 business day transfer timeline applies to the entire order, even if some items were initially in stock at our retail location.

If your order includes items that require a warehouse transfer, this will be clearly noted:

• In a follow-up email sent shortly after your order is placed

Orders that include preorders will ship once all items in the order are released and available. If you’d prefer available items to ship sooner, feel free to contact us at info@darksiderecords.com and we’ll be happy to help arrange split shipping.

Records are packed in Whiplash LP mailers, which are specifically designed to protect vinyl during transit. We also use 100% recyclable packing materials, including paper tape and HexcelPack, to help reduce single-use plastics wherever possible.
