Korla Pandit was the stage name for John Roland Redd, St. Louis born composer, organist, pianist and early television pioneer. Dubbed "The Godfather of Exotica," the turban topped Pandit created eerie background music for radio's occult adventure series, "Chandu the Magician" on his Hammond C-3 and Nova Chord organs.
