Magnepan MG-1.5/QR Speakers
The Magnepan MG 1.5/QR is a full-range planar magnetic loudspeaker known for its open, natural sound and remarkable transparency. Using Magnepan’s quasi-ribbon driver technology, the 1.5/QR delivers a fast, detailed presentation with lifelike imaging and an expansive soundstage that fills the room.
The speaker’s dipole design produces sound from both the front and rear panels, creating a spacious, three-dimensional listening experience that closely mimics live music. Despite its slim profile, the MG 1.5/QR offers impressive bass extension, smooth midrange, and a clean, extended high end.
A classic in Magnepan’s lineup, the MG 1.5/QR remains highly regarded for its musicality and value—an ideal entry point into true planar magnetic performance.
