Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, Nick Cave & Warren Ellis- One More Time With Feeling (Bonus Material)
Two DVD set including bonus material. As Australian musician/author Nick Cave was working on the studio sessions for The Bad Seeds' album Skeleton Tree in 2015, he lost his teenage son Arthur in a tragic cliff fall in England. This documentary from director Andrew Dominik (Chopper) offers a somber and revealing look into the performer's processes-professional and personal-as he sought to complete the project while concurrently dealing with his grief. Originally a performance based concept, One More Time With Feeling evolved into something much more significant. Interwoven throughout the Bad Seeds' filmed performance of the Skeleton Tree album are interviews and footage shot by Dominik, accompanied by Cave's narration and improvised rumination. Filmed in black-and-white and color, in both 3D and 2D, the result is fragile, raw and a true testament to an artist trying to find his way through the darkness.
